Over 133,000 Pounds of Turkey Kielbasa Recalled Due to Foreign Matter Contamination

According to the Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, there’s an active recall on approximately 133,039 pounds of ready-to-eat turkey kielbasa products. This is due to a foreign matter contamination.

The Parkview Turkey Polska Kielbasa affected by this recall were sold in 13-ounce plastic vacuum-sealed packages. The “use by” dates were displayed as “APR 24 24” or “APR 27 24.” The impacted products also have an establishment number P-32009 on the package.

The kielbasa was sold in various retail locations nationwide. The recall was announced after several consumer complaints reported finding bone fragments in the product. Check your refrigerator and freezer for this product, and if you have it on hand and it matches the recall information, dispose of it immediately or return it to the place of purchase.
