This is due to a possible foreign matter contamination. The product impacted by this recall is the Trader Joe’s Chicken, Lentil & Caramelized Onion Pilaf. The affected frozen meals have a stock-keeping unit number of 75473 printed on the packaging. There was minimal detail given on the recall other than that there is a “potential presence of foreign material” in the affected product. However, if you have this recalled pilaf, Trader Joe’s is urging you to discard it immediately or return it to your place of purchase for a refund. Talk to your doctor if you have experienced any illness or injury after consuming this product.
