Blake Lively’s drink line Betty Buzz just released a bunch of cocktail recipes using their fizzy sips. They’re all Super Bowl-themed with “Two Gin-ute Warning,” “San Fran Fizz” and “KC Kingdom Cooler” being just some of the cleverly concocted bubbly beverages. But in a true act of friendship, of course Lively and her team gave a special shoutout to, you guessed it, Taylor Swift. We’re especially loving the Swift-inspired sip in this lineup: the Gold Rush Spritz. The bright name is definitely a pun on the singer’s Evermore track “Gold Rush”—yes, the same song that proves Swift to be a Philadelphia Eagles fan, ironically enough. And it just takes four ingredients to re-create the golden drink. Lucky for us, we were given the recipe so you can give this a swig before, during or after the big game. Pull out your highball glass and learn how to make a Gold Rush Spritz below. Add your tequila and splash a generous amount of pineapple juice over the ice. Pour lemon club soda over top. Gently stir to mix. Sip and enjoy. Tip: If you don’t have lemon club soda, consider adding plain club soda or sparkling water and a squeeze of lemon for the same flavor. Plus, tequila is optional if you want to keep this a nonalcoholic refreshment. If this drink is up your alley, try our Pineapple Margaritas with No Added Sugar that also embrace the combined flavor of sweet pineapple and smooth tequila.
