Just like the rest of the world, we’re big fans of the Kelce family over here at EatingWell. As an Eagles fan myself, my love for the Kelces runs deep, so when asked to interview the Duchess of Delco herself, it was an immediate yes.

Kylie Kelce, wife to Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, has partnered with Lindt leading up to the Super Bowl. In this interview, we talked more about her recent partnership as well as her go-to cheesesteak order, her favorite stadium foods, how she stays active in her day and more. Read for all of the details.

EatingWell: What’s your typical meal at the stadium?

Kelce: My go-to in the stadium is probably [Chickie’s and Pete’s] Crabfries. Or the braided pretzels, they're so good.

EatingWell: What about at home: any foods you look forward to when staying in watching the game?

Kelce: At home, I would say probably a tomato pie, and if you want to get more specific, a Carlino's tomato pie—big fan. But then the best way to balance out all of the salty snacks is having a couple Lindor truffles. I think the best thing about this sort of idea of adding them to your game-day spread is that all of the snacks you talk about for game day are usually salty or savory, so to add in a little pop of chocolaty bliss is perfection.

EatingWell: Do you have a current favorite way to stay active?

Kelce: I do like a little “mom shutdown” and I have the babysitter come a little bit earlier in the morning. Then I actually go and walk for quite some distance just to clear my head. Sometimes I'll answer emails while I'm walking. It's a really good way to sort of take a step back. It gives you perspective and you can get some energy out, you can clear your head, get some fresh air and do it without children because I think that sometimes that plays into your health and well-being to take that time for yourself. I also think that it's a good example for our girls that I'm going out to exercise and making sure that activity is part of our day. Once it gets warmer, we'll go on long walks together where we'll go find a leaf of this color or a big stick and a medium stick, we do that sort of stuff. But right now the idea of packing all of the toddlers up and wrapping them in a million layers, it's just, it is not it.

EatingWell: Favorite walking shoes?

Kelce: It's funny because I know that there's all of these new Hokas or Clouds, all these new trendy brands. It might be a little dated of me but I'm an Asics girlie. I’ve always been an Asics girlie, and I think it's because they had really good turf cleats for field hockey when I was growing up. So I’ll stick with the Asics, they’re tried and true.

EatingWell: Are there any quick meals that your family loves?

Kelce: It's ever-changing because we have toddlers, and so getting toddlers to eat anything is like pulling teeth. They will eat something one day and the next day they're like, “I don't know why you thought I would even look at that.” The perfect example is meatballs. Last night, for instance, our oldest ate six meatballs. Our middle didn't touch them, wouldn't even look at them, but had a lot of pasta with extra Parmesan cheese. And our youngest is like a garbage disposal, she will eat anything you put in front of her. She's the only one that doesn't argue with me, and I think it's only because she doesn't have words yet. I would say usually something with pasta will lean in the direction of, the girls might eat it.

EatingWell: What's your go-to cheesesteak order?

Kelce: This is a great question. I just actually introduced friends of Jason's from Cincinnati to my cheesesteak order and they were like, “I must have been ordering cheesesteaks wrong this whole time because I tried your order and it was delicious.” I always go extra American cheese, fried onions. I love when it's chock-full of cheese. I will say I'm a Dalessandro’s girl, but I recognize that if you're going to someone’s favorite spot, you're going to get an outstanding cheesesteak. It's funny to me how each neighborhood gravitates towards a specific spot.

EatingWell: What inspired you to partner with Lindt for the Super Bowl, and what’s your current favorite Lindt product?

Kelce: The partnership actually came very naturally because I have been a fan of Lindor truffles for a very, very long time. I would say my favorite is probably the red bag, the milk chocolate, but I do very much enjoy a dark chocolate treat every so often. And I also love the variety packs. Every so often you'll get someone who roots around in the bag for the color they're looking for, but I just love going in blind and then seeing what I get out because every single one is going to be delicious.

EatingWell: What does “eating well” mean to you?

Kelce: I would say that eating well is balanced. I like to live by the idea of everything in moderation. I don't love the idea of cutting anything out wholeheartedly unless your dietary restrictions require that. I just think that if you want a doughnut, you should have a doughnut. I make it a point to have vegetables in almost every meal, but that's because I enjoy them and mostly have found ways to enjoy them. If I want to have something that might be deemed as unhealthy, I have it within moderation so that I can still enjoy it. And also trying my very best to drink more water.
