You may already have your Christmas menu down, but if you want a festive platter to serve guests before the big meal, this trend is exactly what you’re looking for.

Food stylist Alaura Berry (@berryandtheboards on Instagram) is going viral for variations of her Crudités Christmas Tree—which she’s fittingly calling a “Crudi-Tree.” Easy to pull apart and devour, this board is a gorgeous addition to your holiday display.

Here’s how to make Berry’s Crudités Christmas Tree, plus dips to serve with and other variations of the veggie-packed trends.

To make the tree, Berry used cucumbers, celery, sugar snap peas, green peppers and rosemary. She layered the veggies, shaping them into a long triangle shape to create a tree on her board. Then, she used cherry tomatoes, cauliflower, pink peppercorns and chamomile flowers to decorate the green tree. To top the tree, she shaped jicama into a star and added it to the top of the board.

This board is super easy to make, and it’s a fresh bite before the comforting holiday meal. Here are some dips we think would pair well with these crunchy veggies:

  • Try your veggie tree with this Dill Pickle Dip—your guests will be sure to thank you.
  • We think this recipe is the Best Homemade Aioli: creamy, garlicky and just delicious!
  • Our Vegan Ranch Dressing will keep this display plant-based and allow all of your guests to dig in.

Take the crudités board up a notch with our Crudité Vegetable Wreath. We use similar veggies to Berry’s tree, plus Brussels sprouts, green beans and curly kale.
